As Secretary of State, ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs Mike Pompeo declared Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern (CPC), placing them on a critical persecution watchlist.
For years we've been RAISING THE ALARM as defenseless Christians in Nigeria live in constant fear of deadly violence.
As Sec. Pompeo stated: "The work that the ACLJ did was very informative for our team at the State Department when we began to evaluate whether or not to designate Nigeria as a CPC. The ACLJ contributed to the data set that underlaid the decision I made."
Now Sec. Pompeo is working directly with us to save Nigeria's Christians from unthinkable atrocities.
Jordan recently delivered an oral intervention to the U.N., and we just filed our 18th submission to the U.N. calling for action to protect Nigeria's Christians and save Leah Sharibu – the Christian teen kidnapped by Boko Haram and forced to bear two children.
And we're already preparing our next oral intervention in just days.
Be the voice for these voiceless Christians. Take action with us.
Sign Our Petition: Protect Nigeria's Dying Christians.
