Yesterday, our campaign officially won the Democratic nomination for governor in the state of New Jersey.

So many of you gave your time, your energy, and your resources to help us build a strong grassroots organization making this moment possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Now, we must turn our attention to the general election with haste. Republicans have officially nominated Jack Ciattarelli, who secured the Republican nomination by tying himself as closely to Donald Trump as possible.

I’m counting on a strong New Jersey Democratic Party to build the kind of statewide, bottom-up organization we need to win up and down the ticket.

We have one question before us in this election: Will we move New Jersey forward?

We have an opportunity to build on the strong progress we have made over the last three-plus years, like raising the minimum wage, tackling climate change head-on, legalizing cannabis, and passing common-sense gun safety laws.

Or our Republican opponent will take New Jersey backward. He did everything he could to win over Trump’s far-right base, and he was rewarded for it with the Republican nomination.

Please help us hit the ground running to build a winning general election campaign for Democrats up and down the ticket by contributing to the New Jersey Democratic Party today. We must keep moving New Jersey forward and need to make it clear that we’re not going back.
