As we do every summer, Hunger Free America’s national network of AmeriCorps VISTA members will continue to prevent a summer food gap and ensure families know how they can get federally-funded meals for their kids. And our CEO, Joel Berg, is personally taking an 8,000 mile journey across the country to raise awareness about the importance of summer meals and enacting policy solutions to permanently end hunger. We won’t rest until children across the country have access to the nutritious meals they need to have a healthy, active, and hunger free summer.
