No to NATO: join the counter-summit
June 13th-14th
Next week, NATO leaders - including President Biden - are meeting in Brussels. No doubt the real issues of climate change, peace and nuclear disarmament will be ignored and the agenda will be more militarism, more tension and conflict with China and Russia - and more spending on nuclear weapons.
The No to NATO network is organising an online counter-summit with three online events across Sunday and Monday. Please join the discussion with international activists and experts. Full details can be found on our website.
Sunday 13th June
This session includes activists from across the globe, discussing NATO's role as a global militarist force - and how we challenge it.
You can register for the 'Global NATO: The Threat of War' online meeting here.
Monday 14th June
There are two sessions on Sunday, the first at 12 noon focuses on solidarity, sustainability and disarmament and the second at 4pm is a Voices for Peace event featuring short 'protest greetings' from international activists - including CND Vice-President Jeremy Corbyn MP.
You can register for the ‘Dissolution of NATO - for solidarity, sustainability and disarmament’ event here and the ‘Voices for Peace’ event here.
