Allen West is considering joining the GOP primary for Governor of Texas. If he wins, he would make the current governor, Greg Abbott, look reasonable and moderate.
Boot Texas Republicans is committed to destroying the GOP’s control over the Texas legislature and governor’s office. But if Allen West wins the gubernatorial nomination, we would have to grapple with something far worse than we ever imagined.
We need to stop him.

Allen West is the same guy who spoke last week at a QAnon-conference with Michael Flynn. He also criticized Governor Abbott for being too restrictive on mask mandates during the pandemic and has accused Lt Gov. Dan Patrick of being too liberal on gun safety.
Here’s the bottom line: We can’t let Allen West get anywhere close to the governor’s office. So please, chip in what you can right now and help us defeat him in 2022.
