Team,

It's simple -- women deserve equal pay for equal work. But 58 years after the passage of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, some women are still being paid 82 cents on the dollar for every dollar a man makes with those disparities widening significantly for women of color. Here in New Hampshire, some women earn just 74 cents on the dollar.

The Paycheck Fairness Act would build on the Equal Pay Act of 1963 to address the wage gap by holding employers accountable, increasing pay transparency, and preventing discrimination in the workplace.

Chris voted for the Paycheck Fairness Act to end the gender pay gap and strengthen workplace protections, but the Senate still hasn't taken up the legislation for a vote. Will you add your name to our petition calling on the Senate to take the Paycheck Fairness Act up for a vote?

The COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened these pay disparities. Millions of women have worked on the frontline of the pandemic as essential workers but are still being underpaid and undervalued.

If we're going to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to pass legislation that will ensure women are paid what they deserve and protected from discrimination in the workplace.

It's time to put an end to the gender pay gap once and for all. Add your name to urge the Senate to vote on the Paycheck Fairness Act.
