In January, right-wing insurrectionists stormed our nation’s Capitol seeking to overturn the will of the voters and undermine our democracy.
News reports identified the Three Percenters militia as participating in the insurrection. Guess what? They are active here in Washington state as well. In fact, they plotted a “citizen’s arrest” against me because of my fight for common sense gun reform.
As the GOP unifies behind this brand of extremism — stoked by Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson and others — these are the risks that come with doing the right thing. But don’t worry — they cannot intimidate me.
The Three Percenters militia and other right-wing groups have proven they will go to extreme lengths to attack our progress, but they cannot stop us. Will you be one of the 250 supporters I need to contribute $20 this week?

My office defeated the NRA in court three times. We successfully defended common sense gun reforms like enhanced background checks and waiting periods for assault weapons sales. We passed legislation banning untraceable and undetectable “ghost guns” in Washington state and blocked Trump's "ghost guns" rule twice.
