Happy World Oceans Day, John.

Today, we celebrate and highlight the importance of protecting our oceans. It's a reminder that we can't let oil companies or destructive environmental practices ruin the oceans for profit while billions of us rely on them for a place to live, work, and play.

Whether we're talking about single-use plastics, destructive fishing practices, and especially offshore drilling, today we come together and stand up to putting short-term profits ahead of our beautiful beaches, vibrant marine life, and the local economies of our coastal communities.

In Congress, I'm committed to building our clean, renewable energy infrastructure to grow the economy -- not continue on a track that threatens our oceans.

That's why I recently introduced legislation to ban the harmful practice of offshore drilling along the Southern California coast. We can't continue letting it threaten our environment and worsen the impact of our climate crisis.

In celebration of World Oceans Day, will you pitch in $3 to help me continue the fight in Congress to protect our environment and solve our climate crisis?

Doing nothing about our oceans' health and the changing climate means we are complacent with the existential threat of climate change. We need to ensure a more sustainable planet for future generations.

Thanks for your support,
