Early this morning, Pete introduced his new LGBTQ policy plan, “Becoming Whole: A New Era for LGBTQ+ Americans”.

As I read through drafts the past couple days, I realized it is the most comprehensive I've ever seen from a Presidential candidate - on either side of the aisle. Covering diverse topics from ending homelessness for LGBTQ youth to creating gender-inclusive affordable health care to preserving America's leadership on LGBTQ issues around the world, Pete has bold solutions to the problems that plague our community.

Pete - and the rest of our LGBTQ candidates - are running campaigns that strive for inclusivity and intersectionality. But they can't spread their message without your support - chip in today.

Policy platforms like these reaffirm why LGBTQ people must run for office - and why we do so proudly and openly. In a time when many LGBTQ Americans have their livelihood hanging on the Supreme Court's whim, when LGBTQ people abroad can be jailed or killed for living authentic lives, when the U.S. Senate refuses to legalize LGBTQ civil rights because of one man's obstruction, we need LGBTQ candidates more than ever before. Each LGBTQ candidate is a reminder to the bigots that we will not be silenced - and we will not go quietly.
