Earlier this year, the Senate's most vocal critic of Big Tech companies -- Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) -- revealed that leftist "commitment" to free speech only goes so far.
One of the nation's largest publishers had signed a contract to publish his in-depth book titled The Tyranny of Big Tech. When they swiftly canceled it in January, Hawley spoke to me soon after on Washington Watch.
"What the media and the left-wing mob [want] is total control of political discourse," he told me. "What they want is everyone who disagrees with them to shut up, be silenced, be expelled -- to go away. That includes, Tony, about 75 million American voters."

Last fall, tens of thousands of FRC supporters had opted-in to be notified about our pivotal Pray Vote Stand broadcast. We contracted with vendor MobileCause to send text messages to these partners.
However, one hour before we were going to go live, suddenly, FRC couldn't inform partners like you via text. In an e-mail, MobileCause CEO Victor Limongelli informed FRC that their contract with us was terminated, effective immediately.
The reason?
MobileCause's bottom line was objecting to our religious views. They dropped FRC simply because we stand for biblical truth on the issues of the day. Their unwarranted, abrupt actions are an example of viewpoint discrimination, pure and simple.
