I know every one of us in the fight to defend reproductive freedom is on high alert right now.

The Supreme Court has chosen to take up an abortion case that is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade – amidst an ongoing wave of anti-abortion bills across the states.

It's an urgent moment, but we now have a chance to fight back against the assault on abortion rights: Today, Congress reintroduced the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA) and we need members to support it immediately. Send a message to your lawmakers now.

ACLU Supporter, barriers to abortion care disproportionately harm BIPOC people and people with low incomes. We've long-needed federal laws to address this inequity and secure everyone's right to access abortion care. WHPA helps us do that.

WHPA would provide a national safeguard against state abortion bans and medically unnecessary restrictions that push abortion care out of reach – and that means for all of us, no matter who you are or where you live.
