Friend, I’m sure you’ve heard about Arizona’s latest attempt to overturn the 2020 election results through a Republican “election audit.” But now Republicans are threatening to try the same stunt in Pennsylvania.

Luckily, Pennsylvania’s Dem AG Josh Shapiro is fighting back – take a look at what he said about this anti-democratic ploy:

Republican attacks on our democracy won’t stop, and we need Dem AGs in as many states as possible to help combat these radical anti-democratic actions. That’s why we’re asking you to chip in $5 so we can elect more Dem AGs.

Dem AGs have been active, front-line defenders of our democracy and the rights of voters nationwide. Take a look at how Dem AGs have protected elections recently:

• Dem AGs filed, and won, three separate lawsuits to protect our mail system when Trump’s Postmaster General Louis DeJoy tried to slow down USPS delivery to stymie mail-in ballots in the midst of a global pandemic.
  
• A group of 17 Dem AGs opposed Alabama’s attempt to ban curbside voting, a suppression tactic that would disproportionately impact the elderly, voters with disabilities, and Black Alabamians.
  
• When indicted Republican AG Ken Paxton tried to overturn the presidential election results in four battleground states, Democratic Attorney General Karl Racine led a coalition of 22 other Dem AGs, urging the Supreme Court to reject Paxton’s lawsuit and protect the integrity of our democracy.
  
• And after the Supreme Court ultimately rejected AG Paxton’s baseless suit, Dem AGs pledged to continue fighting against anti-democratic efforts that threaten to undermine our free and fair elections.

Friend, Republicans won’t stop trying to undermine our democracy – from disenfranchising voters in state legislatures across the country, to their repeated attempts at overturning the election’s results.

But Dem AGs intervene on our behalf every time, and they’ll continue to defend our votes at each turn. That’s why we need more Dem AGs to help us continue to fight against Republican attempts to undermine our democracy.

Since 2016, we’ve won over two-thirds of our targeted AG races since 2016 and with more than 30 AG races up for grabs in the next two years, we have a chance to continue our winning momentum and elect more Dem AGs. Will you chip in $5 now to help us win these key races?
