Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced his plan to bring the For the People Act for vote this month. This is two months sooner than we expected. That makes the next three weeks even more critical -- as we work on an expedited timeline to get this bill passed.
As Senate Majority Leader Schumer said, if our democracy doesn’t work -- we can’t make progress on the issues we care about. We need to pass the For the People Act and make our democracy work for the people.
