It’s no secret that women — and especially women of color — have long been overworked and underpaid for doing the same jobs as men, or forced into the lowest-paying jobs altogether — leaving them struggling to support themselves and families.
The COVID-19 crisis has only exacerbated these inequities as women continue to fight on the frontlines of this pandemic without being valued and paid equally. It's unacceptable.
