We can’t stop fighting for our democracy.
Senator Joe Manchin announced yesterday that he would vote AGAINST historic voting rights legislation AND oppose ending the filibuster so we can deliver for the people. He is putting the idea of bipartisanship — which Republicans have long abandoned — ahead of passing the For The People Act and protecting our democracy.
With Republicans passing dozens of coordinated voter suppression efforts in states across the country and doing everything they can to make it harder for people to vote, we can’t stop fighting to protect our democracy.
