Democrats’ first order of business after winning back control of the House was to pass landmark voting legislation like the For the People Act to strengthen voting rights for millions of Americans.

But with Republicans in control of the Senate, the For the People Act was added to the pile of hundreds of bills collecting dust on Mitch McConnell’s desk.

Now that Democrats have taken back the Senate, Majority Leader Schumer is preparing to bring this crucial legislation to a vote.

With Democrats in charge, we finally have a chance to get dark money and corruption out of our politics — and I’ll be proud to cast my vote to finally pass this bill and put power in the hands of the people.
