ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]Far more often than not, Black and minority owned businesses have struggled to gain access to the resources they deserve, and this trend was only made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the American Jobs Plan:

⏩ We’ll allocate 40% of clean infrastructure to Black and brown communities. This works to undo decades of economic inequality that has worsened asthma and other illnesses in underserved communities.

⏩ We’ll provide $100 million in training programs; helping students in underserved communities have the opportunity to gain training for in-demand careers before they leave high school.

⏩ We’ll invest $5 million in Black farmers. The agriculture industry has continued to be hit hard, but this has been felt hardest by Black farmers. Years of discrimination have pushed many Black farmers out of business — farms that had existed for generations.
