Job Opening:
DEI in the Sciences Project
NAS seeks a lead researcher to investigate DEI initiatives in American science

[link removed]
Dear Friend,

In a growing number of university departments in the hard sciences, students and faculty are facing increasing calls to promote anti-scientific dogmas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; “Anti-Racism”; social justice; and critical race theory over against the scientific method and factual analyses.

NAS will be undertaking a project to investigate and analyze these shifts and offer reforms. As part of this, NAS seeks a full-time lead researcher whose role will be to investigate and analyze the extent to which such science departments have shifted their focus away from science instruction and toward these pseudo-scientific alternatives.

If you would like to apply, or if you know someone who might be a good fit, please feel free to look at the position description ([link removed]) and submit your resume, cover letter, and writing sample to David Randall at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

Thank you!

Best,
Chance Layton
