| John, Will you sign our petition calling on the Supreme Court to PROTECT Roe v. Wade and reproductive rights? ADD YOUR NAME → The Supreme Court has agreed to take up a major abortion case from Mississippi that could directly threaten Roe v. Wade and have devastating impacts on a woman’s right to choose. The case in question is a new law enacted in Mississippi that would ban abortions at 15 weeks; or three weeks into the second trimester. With a 6-3 conservative majority sitting atop the highest court in the land, reproductive rights are very much under threat. But reproductive rights have been under attack here in Montana even before the Supreme Court decided to hear this case. In late April, Governor Gianforte signed 3 bills into law that would restrict access to reproductive care. These Republican-led actions are utterly unacceptable. Women do not need the government interfering with what they are and are not allowed to do with their bodies, full stop.
