Friends, this is a HUGE win for democracy!
In 2020, we saw record numbers of mail-in voting as Americans stayed home to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19.
But, the thing is … mail-in voting doesn’t just help us fight a pandemic! Mail-in voting makes democracy more accessible for working parents, voters with disabilities, elderly voters, and anyone else who lacks the resources to easily get to a polling place.
It’s simple: Mail-in voting is good for democracy.
Democrats are leading the fight for voting rights here in Nevada, and Susie Lee is no exception.
That’s because the more people who participate in democracy, the better off we all are. Democracy works best when everyone’s voices are heard.
Republicans in Congress and state legislatures across the country are fighting against this kind of pro-democracy voting because they know when we all vote, they lose.
But that’s not how a democracy works, folks — voters get to choose their elected officials, NOT the other way around.
