Hey John — I finally served Congressman Mo Brooks my lawsuit this weekend, but now he is implying that he wants me thrown in jail.

As you might know, I’m suing Mo Brooks for his role in inciting the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. But ever since my lawsuit went public, Mo Brooks fled into hiding to avoid getting served the papers.

I’m not kidding. I even had to hire a private investigator to find Brooks.

This weekend, my team finally lawfully served the papers to Mo Brooks' wife, as the federal rules allow.

But now Brooks is firing off threats and misinformation, going as far as to accuse me of committing a crime for daring to sue him and threatening to toss me in jail (I’m attaching the tweet at the bottom of the email so you can see for yourself).

John, I am not afraid of Mo Brooks and his laughable taunts. But we’re going to need major resources to fight back against these lies and threats.
