Hi John,
It’s the global week of action for a People’s Vaccine!

At the current vaccination rates, it will take low-income countries 57 years to vaccinate everyone. Meanwhile, G7 countries will manage to fully vaccinate their populations by 8 January 2022. The inequality is staggering.

We need urgent action, but rich countries are dragging their feet. More than a million people have died since the last G7 meeting in February. We can’t afford any more delays.

Join the global action

The World Trade Organisation is meeting tomorrow and Wednesday to discuss the proposal to suspend intellectual property for Covid-19 vaccines and treatments and the leaders of the G7 are meeting in Cornwall. Let’s make sure our demands follow them everywhere!

We are joining with our global allies in the People’s Vaccine alliance in Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia and Africa to show the mass mobilisation of global support for our campaign demandscalling on governments and pharmaceutical companies to drop the patents and share vaccine know-how, so that everyone, everywhere can be safe

Globally, over 2.7 million people have signed to support a people’s vaccine, and you can add your voice too.

Putting pressure on global leaders works – together with our global allies we have managed to convince the US administration to support suspending vaccine patents. Together we can put pressure on the UK government to follow!

As people take action across the world, help us spread the message!

Help ensure Covid-19 vaccines are available to everyone, everywhere

It’s vitally important that Covid-19 vaccine patents are suspended during the pandemic, and for big pharma to share their know-how globally, as the best way of ensuring there are enough vaccines for everyone everywhere.

Regular gifts give us the long-term stability to plan effective campaigns and the flexibility to respond to crises like these.
