This is a little earlier in the month than you usually hear from me, and you might be wondering why. 

I wouldn’t reach out if it wasn’t absolutely necessary -- but our race for NJ-11 is becoming more competitive by the day. Here are five reasons why you should make your first contribution of the year today:

1. A GOP dark-money group just launched a new massive ad campaign attacking Mikie.


2. That same outside group is spending over $4 million on attack ads targeting New Jersey.


3. Washington Republicans are hoping to leverage redistricting to take back the House Majority, and they named Mikie one of their top 10 redistricting targets for 2022.


4. Donald Trump is spending all summer in New Jersey and resuming rallies to gin up support for Washington Republicans in their quest to turn the House red.


5. And the next FEC end-of-quarter deadline is less than a month away, and outside groups, the National GOP, and our opponents will be looking to size up the strength of our campaign.
