Ohio is the latest targeted state in the GOP’s coordinated attack on voting rights.

Last week, Republican lawmakers in Ohio introduced the first major voter suppression bill of the year in our state. This extreme bill restricts:

• Drop box locations and times
• Mail ballot requests
• Early voting
• Voter registration

The GOP attack on voting rights is becoming an epidemic. 

Republican lawmakers across the country have introduced over 400 restrictive voting bills in nearly every single state. Just last week, Texas Democrats narrowly stopped an extreme anti-voting bill in its tracks by staging a walkout and breaking the quorum needed to pass the bill as a show of force against the GOP’s undemocratic assault on voting rights.

What did Texas Republicans do? They promised to come back with a new bill packed with even more extreme voting restrictions.
