I hope that this letter finds you in good health and spirits. Broadband is an essential utility and consumers, regardless of income, race, ethnicity, color or national origin deserve access to affordable, reliable broadband. As our communities continue to chart the path towards recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring connectivity to jobs, critical healthcare services and virtual classrooms is critical.

As a member of the of the Energy and Commerce Communications and Technology subcommittee, I am excited to announce the launch of the Federal Communications Commission’s Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program

On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 6:00PM to 7:30PM, Congresswoman Clarke be hosting a Virtual Town Hall on the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program. We will have two distinguished panelists from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC);  Ms. Jessica Rosenworcel the Acting Chair FCC and Mr. Eduard Bartholme the Associate Bureau Chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau.
