This Friday is Coming Out Day, when our community celebrates living openly no matter our sexual orientation or gender identity.

At Immigration Equality, it also means lifting up our clients like Gustavo and Denise, who were never safe coming out in the countries where they were born. They fled to the United States to live their lives openly, but struggled to come out in other ways: as undocumented or HIV-positive.
Help us ensure LGBTQ refugees have a safe place to call home by launching a Facebook fundraiser for National Coming Out Day this Friday, October 11th.
Every dollar raised will allow Immigration Equality attorneys to win asylum for people like Gustavo and Denise, a first step to living openly no matter if you’re queer, trans, living with HIV, or undocumented.
Thank you,

Kristen Thompson
