We have an update on the Republican performance in elections that took place this week, and there is some encouraging news.
Republicans won one race, and lost another. Sadly, in New Mexico's 1st Congressional Distrtict, Republican Mark Moores was defeated by Democrat Melanie Stansbury. However, even in this loss there was some positive news: Democrats were forced to pump $1.5 MILLION into a seat that Joe Biden had carried by 23% in the 2020 elections. Normally Democrats would not have had to wasted this much money in a race like this. This $1.5 Million will now not be available to other Democrat candidates in districts where it will be tougher for Democrats to win.
Meanwhile in McCallen, Texas, Republicans won the mayoral race in a county that Joe Biden had carried by 17% in 2020.
The bottom line is that we are on offense, and we have the Democrats on defense. In fact the New York Times, in just the past 24-hours, published a report warning that Democrats are facing an increasingly bad prognosis for the upcoming Midterm Elections:
So now with a series of Special Elections approaching, and the battle to retake majority control of the House and Senate. Our approach here at CCC PAC is this: we will continue to stay on offense, battle the Democrats in every election contest, and keep the Democrats scrambling on the defense.
