John,
Transportation is the largest source of carbon emissions in the U.S, with vehicles producing 28% of greenhouse gases across our nation. To fight the global climate crisis, we must address this massive source of pollution.

Luckily, there are steps we can take. Congress has the power to fully fund a zero-emission transit policy, which would include making bus fleets mandatorily zero-emission.

To tackle climate change in America, steps like this one can be game-changing. If you support a zero-emission transit policy, please sign this petition to encourage Congress to act now.→

One public bus already reduces the carbon of 40 cars. And if our federal government invested in busses powered by electricity and made them more accessible for people to use, we could decrease carbon emissions drastically.

Congress must prioritize taking these steps to help our planet. Let’s put the pressure on by signing this petition to voice our support for a zero-emission transit policy. →
