Yesterday, I published an article in Foreign Affairs discussing the need for a sane, Republican foreign policy approach to tackle the issues that America faces. On the same day, President Trump announced a surprise withdrawal from North Syria, sold out our Kurdish allies, and precipitated an international crisis which will have long-term national security implications.

And within twenty-four hours of those catastrophic decisions, CNN is reporting that President Trump knew the details of Turkey’s operations and he abandoned our allies anyway:

I need your help, John. Things are spinning out of control, and the only way to right the ship is to provide a credible, consistent voice of leadership to the American people.

We must act before it’s too late. Chip in right now to help us bring real leadership back to the Republican Party. <[link removed]>

Thanks for believing in our movement,

Bill

John— Today I published an article in Foreign Affairs about how we can reclaim the Republican Party back from the isolationist takeover that was ushered in under President Trump.

Here’s a sneak peak:

"I am running against Trump for the Republican nomination for president in part to return the United States to the stable, bipartisan foreign policy that brought the United States through the Cold War. This means restoring deep connections with our European and Asian allies and with Israel. It means building on the changes that brought Middle Eastern countries into alignment against religious extremism and terrorism. It means supporting African countries in their battles against terrorists and their efforts to build effective, independent democracies. And it means recognizing that issues such as the environment and the future of our planet demand multilateral cooperation."

Now, can you help us spread the word? We’re going to need all the help we can get to cut through the noise coming out of Washington. Even $5 would go a long way to getting this message in front of voters. <[link removed]>

Thanks,
Bill
