Representative Christina Haswood reports there is an almost total unwillingness among Kansas Republicans to even mention the issue of Medicaid expansion. By continuously refusing to expand Medicaid, Kansas GOP officials have cast aside billions of dollars in federal funds and the nearly 150,000 uninsured Kansans that would receive basic medical coverage. As a state, we’ve lost out on hundreds of millions in federal tax dollars that currently subsidize health care in the 36 states that have implemented expansion.  

 

 

 

This should not be a partisan issue, but Republicans are acting only in the interest of the corrupt GOP agenda. We need help from supporters like you in order to continue our fight to elect Democrats who will expand Medicaid and to vote out self-serving Republicans.
