John:

• Voter suppression
• Gerrymandering
• The Big Lie
• Legislation making it easier to overturn election results
• Attacking election officials, courts, and citizen-led ballot initiatives

These are just some of the ways Republicans are threatening democracy. And unless we can mobilize a massive, nationwide movement to fight back, America could slip into authoritarianism.

Here are two things you can do right now:

1. Call your senators at (202) 224-3121 and demand that they vote YES on the For the People Act later this month.


2. Donate to the NDRC to help us keep fighting as hard as we can to keep our elections in the hands of the people, where they belong.

We wish we were exaggerating about the severity of this threat, but it's very, very real. A.G. Holder has been sounding the alarm for months, and now everyone from New York Times and Washington Post columnists to 100 democracy experts are in agreement. If we don't act now, it will soon be too late.
