Hey there John --

Over the last 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of working at the California Democratic Party in various capacities including the front desk, member services, party services and now operations. Throughout my journey with you, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of the growth and progress of this organization.

When I first started in 2003, I knew that I wanted to contribute to building a foundation of change. And change to me meant carving out a pathway for new and emerging young leaders from all walks of life.

At CADEM, we recognize that not everyone has equal access to resources and opportunities. So today, I’m excited to announce that we established our very first paid internship program: CADEM Future Leaders Internship Program. [[link removed]] We are committed to providing the opportunity for new and young activists to learn, grow and participate in the democratic process.

As part of our mission to build the bench at the California Democratic Party, we’re making sure that every intern gets $15/hr for their labor. Can you help us invest in young leaders by donating $15 today? [[link removed]]
Grassroots donations build our progressive bench. This program is just one of the very first important steps to creating progress within our Party. And John, progress takes all of us working together for a better and brighter future.

In Solidarity,
Emma Harper
Director of Operations
