After failing to win back Washington's 8th District in the 2020 elections, the Seattle Times is reporting that Republicans are taking a more aggressive approach to flip Kim's seat in the midterms.

Our first Republican opponent has entered the race and in one of his first interviews, he refused to accept the results of the 2020 election.

John -- protecting this seat won't be easy. Kim is the first ever Democrat to represent this purple district and history shows that the president's party loses an average of 27 seats in the midterm elections.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) named this seat a top target and a dark money PAC has already launched TV ads attacking Kim. As the Seattle Times reported, national Republicans will pour even more money into our district to elect an extreme Republican. We can't let that happen.
