Hi John,
Part of our mission and values as Montana Democrats is to be representative of all Montana’s voices. As such, it is a great sign that the Montana Democrats Rules Convention proposed changes to include establishing tribal committees within our governing document, giving Montana Native Americans truly representative voting strength.
Native Americans are 7% of Montana’s voting population, and tribal committee votes alone would be 7% of our state party convention votes. In a time when Montana Republicans, including the Attorney General and Superintendent of Public Instruction, are implementing restrictive voting laws and rules that block beloved long-term programs like Indian Education For All, it is even more important that our Native communities have their voices heard!
Join the Montana Democrats in helping to continue to grow our Native Program and reach these critical voters. We want to get 100 donations by the end of the day tomorrow, so chip in $15 today.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you,
