John,
ICYMI… yesterday, over 100 voters between Arizona’s First and
Second Congressional Districts showed up in front of the district offices
of Reps. Tom O’Halleran and Ann Kirkpatrick in Casa Grande and Tucson.
Arizonans stood their ground, demanding that their representatives ‘Stop
the Madness’ and end the baseless impeachment and investigation witch
hunt against President Trump.
Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward led both events, where she
called out Reps. O’Halleran and Kirkpatrick for going along with Nancy
Pelosi and the socialist squad instead of sticking up for their
constituents. “The Democrats have gone crazy with
impeachment madness. Since November of 2016, they have wanted to tear down
President Trump, and now Tom O’Halleran and Ann Kirkpatrick are complicit
with their party’s corruption. They would be better off working for the
Arizonans that voted for this president in 2016, rather than governing from
a place of obstruction.”
State Senator Vince Leach rallied the crowd in Casa Grande,
saying, “We’re here to Stop the Madness that’s going on
in Washington, DC. Democrats like Tom O’Halleran need to focus on the
issues that matter to their constituents, instead of focusing on these
bogus fishing expeditions. And they can start by passing the
USMCA.”
Pima County Republican Party Chairman David Eppihimer echoed those
sentiments in Tucson: “The people of the Second
Congressional District deserve a representative that will work for them
instead of playing party politics. Ann Kirkpatrick needs to show up for the
people of her district and end the madness. Enough is
enough!”
Yesterday’s counter-impeachment event is part of a nationwide effort to
hold vulnerable Democrats, like Reps. Tom O’Halleran and Ann Kirkpatrick,
accountable for their extreme actions and politically motivated behavior.
Recently, the RNC debuted a new website, StopTheMadness.gop, which
operates as a one-stop clearing house to defend the president-- including
opportunities for people to sign up as a volunteer, details on how to show
up to a counter protest, and more. A $2 million TV and digital buy is
also part of the nationwide push against 60+ vulnerable Democrats who
campaigned on reaching across the aisle to work with President Trump
– including targeting the districts of Reps. O’Halleran and
Kirkpatrick.
“The ‘Stop the Madness’ campaign is a way to cause chaos in
districts like those of Rep. Tom O’Halleran and Ann Kirkpatrick, who
promised voters one thing when they went to Washington, but have turned
around and done the exact opposite. This bogus impeachment witch hunt,
combined with the socialist policies espoused by the left, will sink the
chances of Democrats like O’Halleran and Kirkpatrick at the ballot box in
2020.” – Trump Victory Spokesperson Samantha Zager

Republican Party of Arizona
