In Philadelphia, Kendra Brooks and Nicolas O’Rourke are running for City Council on a platform of building more affordable housing on public land and with the resources needed to transform families and communities. Mike Mayou is running for City Council in Duluth, Minnesota on a similar platform of demanding housing justice.
Joseph Erikson in Washington State is running for Everett City Council to bravely insist that Everett’s city-owned golf courses be repurposed into low-income housing.
We are behind each of these candidates because we believe in the human dignity of every American, and their right to quality housing and public education.

Maryam Khan, Rhonda Walker, and Moira Nelson are all running inspiring campaigns (in Windsor, CT, Longview, WA, and Monmouth County, NJ respectively) built on the premise that everyone — regardless of their class or socioeconomic status — should have access to the kind of quality public education necessary to succeed in the 21st century economy.
Furthermore, these candidates are pushing for more technical skills training so that we can meet students where they are and set them up for success.
