Dear Friend,
Today is the last day you may vote early in advance of Tuesday's June 8th Democratic Primary!
From 8 AM until 5 PM today (Saturday) you may vote early in-person at the Registrar's Office at 132 N. Royal Street (across the street from City Hall). There are designated parking spaces available to make voting easy and there should not be any lines.
If you requested a mail ballot and you have not yet returned it, you can drop it in the 24/7 drop-box which is available in front of the Registrar's Office anytime before Tuesday evening. Drop-boxes are also available at each voting precinct on Tuesday.
If you are waiting for Primary day to vote in-person, the polls will be open from 6 AM until 7 PM at your local precinct.
Ultimately, the endorsement I seek is that of the voters of our City. I ask for your vote to continue moving our City forward. Already, 4,685 Alexandrians have cast their votes in our Democratic Primary. This is over twice the total early voters from 3 years ago, with another day left.
You can review the sample ballots for this election online:
The progress we have made as a community is the result of collaborative leadership and community involvement.
I would be honored to have your support as we continue our work in the future!
There are a few ways you can help our campaign today:
-
We have now knocked on 11,991 doors thanks to your efforts! We will be back knocking on doors throughout the City this weekend. If you would like to knock on doors with us, please sign up here and our team will be in touch shortly.
-
If making phone calls is more your speed, you can sign-up to phone voters and remind them to turn out to vote.
-
If you're more of a text messaging person, you can sign-up to text voters to remind them to vote in the primary!
-
If you are available to help us greet voters at precincts around the City on Primary Day, we need your help! Please sign-up on line!
- On Election Night, we will be gathering at Pork Barrell BBQ at 2312 Mount Vernon Avenue after the polls close. See you there!
Let me know your ideas.
I am thankful for your support,
Justin
