Believe me, folks, I am not someone to blindly follow a political party and inherently stand against another one. In fact, over the course of my life, I've been a Republican, Independent, and Democrat.

But, the fact of the matter is that Trumpism is inspiring and cultivating a dangerous threat to our democracy -- and too many Republican elected officials are enabling him.

In Arizona's Maricopa County, there's a bogus audit of the 2020 presidential election taking place. Worse yet, it's being run by a group that is clearly partial to Donald Trump.

The thing is, efforts like these devastate the strength of our democracy. And, while many Republicans oppose efforts like the audit, the fact is that party leadership supports it. 

Time and time again, my opponent has stood by the folks who are trying to harm our democracy by perpetuating the Big Lie. She voted against impeaching Trump, she's stood with Marjorie Taylor Greene, and she voted against creating a commission to look further into the insurrection at the Capitol. 

Democrat or Republican, we can't have people like that in office.
