Hi there, friend – I just wanted to drop in with a word of thanks for your support these past few weeks. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. It means so much to me that you joined this team and are with me for the fights ahead.

Today, in the face of GOP-led voter suppression laws, in the face of a Republican Party that refuses to acknowledge the legitimacy of a democratic election, in the face of a party that refuses to support even a shred of the progress we so badly need, I draw on the strength of the titans of equality that have come before me ... and I choose to fight back. And so did you. Together, we're building the grassroots momentum we need to win here in Florida. 

The situation is this: The GOP doesn't care about COVID relief – we know this. They don't care about affordable health care, either ... or gun reform, or the needs and values of Floridians. They just want to win.

And the only reason we've been able to make progress – to build back better – in the face of such reckless opposition, is because we won a slim majority in the House and a threadbare Senate majority last year. 2020 was a year of challenges the likes of which we hadn't faced before. But even when the world felt like it was upside down, you had my back – you stood up for what was right, no matter the cost to make that possible. For that, I’m so grateful. And I'm going to ask you to be with me again as we face new challenges and meet this moment together. 

Having a grassroots campaign made up of supporters like you will make all the difference in our ability to continue the hard work we've already started. Because you've been with me thus far, I want you to be the first to know what's next.
