15,000 SUPPORTERS NEEDED: SIGN ON IN SUPPORT OF THE EQUALITY ACT » [link removed]

Right now, the Senate has the possibility to pass the Equality Act, amazing legislation that grants the LGBTQ+ community protection under the Civil Rights Act.

If passed, this will mean:

● LGBTQ+ people cannot be fired because of whom they love or their gender
● Businesses cannot refuse LGBTQ+ people service or employment on the basis of sexual preference
● Critical economic sectors -- like housing, education, health care, and more! -- will not be able to discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community.

Passing the Equality Act will be a huge step forward in our progressive movement towards true equality and justice for all.

We have a moral obligation to do whatever it takes to sign the Equality Act into law. So please, add your name immediately and DEMAND that the Senate pass the Equality Act!
