Hey there,

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul became a household name when he single-handedly blocked a bill that would have finally made lynching a federal hate crime.

He solidified his reputation when he forced a Senate vote to try to throw out Trump's impeachment trial before it even started.

Now he's leading Republican efforts to block a January 6 commission to investigate the Capitol insurrection.

But Charles Booker wants to force him into an early retirement in 2022.

As Kentucky's former youngest Black state lawmaker, Booker knows how to rise above the obstacles in politics -- it's why he keeps telling us: “Don't doubt what's possible in Kentucky.” Booker has won before, and we know he can win against Paul in 2022.

Republicans want us to believe we can't flip this state, but progressives say otherwise. Booker has raised over $500,000 since launching his exploratory committee, all from grassroots donations from people in Kentucky and across the country.

Democrats have already won statewide in Kentucky before. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear flipped the state blue in 2019 with ideas for a better future, just like Booker's progressive ideas will carry him to victory in 2022.

But we have to be clear: Rand Paul is a powerful, two-term, Trump-endorsed incumbent -- $500,000 isn't nearly enough, and we need to start catching up if we want to keep this race competitive.
