John,

North Carolina could be the next state to bypass Congress and call for the Term Limits Convention.

Our legislation has passed the state house.  Now it's up to the state senate.

We have planned a major public lobbying event in North Carolina next week.

The North Carolina House Speaker is helping to fight for term limits for the U.S. House and Senate, too.

However, this battle could go either way.  Our volunteers and field staff in the Tarheel State need help.

Please, make a generous emergency contribution to fund more ads in North Carolina.

The professional politicians in D.C. are going all out to stop us.

Somehow, out the blue, our Term Limits Convention legislation in Louisiana was just "tabled".

That means it was denied an up or down vote.

We believe that we had the votes to pass our bill, but then something happened at the very last minute.

Our Louisiana team is still battling, and I'll keep you informed.

But right now, we need to focus on North Carolina.

We don't want what happened in Louisiana to happen in North Carolina!

That's why I need your help immediately.

As I just mentioned, we're recruiting volunteers to lobby at the North Carolina capitol building.

We've called the media.

But we must do more.

We must unleash a wave of online ads in North Carolina to make sure the state senate holds a vote on the Term Limits Convention and that we win it!

Please help.

We are so close to victory  in North Carolina.

We can't let the professional politicians in D.C. -- using their backroom wheeling and dealing  -- defeat us.

The American people want term limits for Congress.

And now it's up to North Carolina . . . and you.

Please do what you can.

Philip Blumel
President
