Team —
The Republican-appointed Georgia Board of Education just went against everything the Republican Party supposedly stands for. Yesterday, the Georgia Board of Education approved a measure that severely limits how much Georgia's teachers can teach about racism.
This unilateral decision threatens to create a chilling effect that will practically eliminate our educators' ability to instruct their students — 58% of whom are black or brown children — about the key topic of critical race theory and other important discussions about race and racism.
This egregious overstep is rich coming from the party that professes to stand for free speech and liberty. What we are seeing is the truth — the party that rails against "cancel culture" is also the party that participates in it the most.
Team, this is why our fight to flip the state legislature and our state's executive branch is SO important. Who appoints the Board of Education? The Governor and the State Senate. That's why in 2022 we must ensure that Democrats win up and down the ballot so that we can have elected officials we can trust to confront our country's history, instead of trying to erase it.

Thank you for your support in protecting Georgia parents' and teachers' right to teach our kids the truth. Together, we will completely flip Georgia blue.
