We’ve already given you some sneak previews of our plans for the congressional recess that’s coming up in just three weeks. And while we’re finalizing the details, we want to make sure you have all the latest information so you can be ready to get involved with one of the most important moments we’ll face this year.

This recess -- from June 28 to July 10 -- is a crucial time for us to build pressure on every senator to pass the For the People Act and enact transformative democracy reform. For these policies to be in place with enough time to enact them before next year’s elections, we need to pass them by this fall. That’s why we’re organizing this recess around a Deadline for Democracy.

Our volunteers and organizers are already getting started planning events to make this one of our biggest actions ever. That’s what it’s going to take to get our priorities through the hurdles of the Senate. We know we’re going to need your help to do it, too, so today we’re asking for support.
