We’re about to enter GOTV weekend. In case you don’t know, that stands for Get Out the Vote.
This is the final moment to mobilize voters and turn them out for Tuesday’s primary.
I know my message is resonating with Virginians. Now the challenge is expanding my reach in the final days. That’s why I’m reaching out to you. Donate now to expand our reach with our GOTV Fund.
This moment calls for something new. It calls for someone who has walked in Virginians’ shoes, who knows their struggles, and who has been effective at solving them. I’m confident I’m the right candidate for this moment.
We need to elect someone who can bring bold, transformational change to Virginia; who will inspire a working mom to stand in line at her polling place to cast her ballot; who doesn’t just have a record of solving Virginia’s challenges in the legislature, but who has actually lived through them.
I have lived on minimum wage -- which is why, as Delegate, I fought hard for (and passed) raising the minimum wage.
I have lived without healthcare, and many of my loved ones have, too. It’s why I’m proud that we expanded Medicaid to over 500,000 Virginians.
My family has been hit hard by this pandemic, just as many working families across Virginia have. It’s why I’m the right leader to build a stronger post-COVID economy for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected.
With your help and support, we can and will elect new leadership for our state and we will make history by electing the first Black woman to serve as governor nationwide. Donate now and power my campaign through our GOTV weekend.
Happy GOTV!
Jennifer
Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide.
Help her make history. Donate now.
