John, Our team just went through Dan Lipinski’s July FEC report and here’s something that jumps out immediately: Only 1% of the money he raised in April, May, and June came from individuals giving under $200. Seriously. The rest of his funds come from special-interests and high-dollar donations. In fact, a whopping 39% came directly from corporate PACs. That stands in stark contrast to how we’re building this campaign. I’m refusing money from corporate PACs -- 54% of what we raised last quarter came from small-dollar donors. And that number is going up. Can you chip in to help show Dan Lipinski and his wealthy corporate backers what a real grassroots campaign looks like? If this is where Dan Lipinski is getting his money, whose back do you think he’s going to have when push comes to shove: his constituents, or the corporate interests lining his pockets? It’s a tale as old as time in D.C.: politicians doing the bidding of the wealthy few at the expense of the rest of us. That’s a cycle we’re going to end for this district right here and now. If you’re ready for someone who fights for you and not the corporate special interests that fund them, make a donation to our grassroots campaign today. Thanks, Marie
