Beware... Donald Trump just announced that he's resuming his campaign-style rallies this month .
This is incredibly dangerous. These campaign rallies--which the corporate media will shower with wall-to-wall coverage--will give Trump a huge platform to spread hate, disinformation, and dangerous conspiracy theories.
From the lies that led directly to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol to outrageous conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 vaccine, and more, we know an avalanche of racism and right-wing misinformation is headed our way. And after Senate Republicans filibustered the January 6 commission, it's clear that the GOP remains totally captive to Donald Trump.
We must be prepared to fight back against Trump's lies, because this time, our democracy might not survive.
The team at Inequality Media is working to use our massive social media following to inoculate the public against Trump's most dangerous lies.
We're running scientific message tests to identify the most effective content with key demographic groups, including those that Trump and his enablers are targeting. Researchers who study the spread of online disinformation say that "fake news spreads six times faster than true news."
Six times.
And we know that could get far worse once Trump's rallies are back and cable news is covering his every word. Cable news has already reported on the lie that ballot audits will overturn the election, and he'll be reinstated later this summer.
