June is a big month for advocacy! Whether you're a seasoned activist looking for new ways to take action or a beginner looking for ways to get involved in your local community, Green America has you covered.

June 1st marked the beginning of Pride Month, celebrated annually to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots and to champion equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) Americans. In this newsletter, we're highlighting one of the lesser discussed aspects of the LGBTQ movement - investment and financial wellness.

Additionally, June 19th is Juneteenth, a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. We've come a long way since then...but there is much more work to be done. Read below to learn more about continuing inequality in homeownership in the United States and how that can change.
