Texas is facing some of the strictest voter suppression laws from the GOP. And it's because Republicans know that this conservative stronghold is becoming a battleground state, so they're pulling out all the stops to keep progressives from voting.

But Beto O'Rourke is no stranger to calling out Republican corruption. He recently said to fellow Texans about the GOP, “These jokers can't even keep the lights on, or the heat on, or the water on when the temperature drops. Now they want to take away our election?”
