Portion of Van Buren at Adams Street to be closed tomorrow, Oct. 10
All businesses will remain open and accessible for single-day closure
On Thursday, Oct. 10, crews will close a portion of Van Buren Street at Adams Street to replace water main.
The road is expected to be closed for a single day.
All businesses will remain accessible during the closure. Use Main Street, rather than Adams Street, to get to all Van Buren Street businesses.
When complete, this water main replacement will support new developments on Block 11, the downtown block bounded by Washington, Main, Van Buren, and Adams Streets. When finished, Block 11 will include new restaurants and office space, plus additional public parking and a reimagining of the streetscape featuring a pedestrian thoroughfare.
